Hey VUA Community,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you! We’ve got some significant changes in store for vAMSYS, and we’re gearing up for an impressive launch at the end of September. Our team has been working closely with the vAMSYS developers to advocate to enhance your overall experience. The primary objective of the vAMSYS developers for v5 was to completely rebuild the system from the ground up and streamline the virtual airline management system process for VA staff members and their community. We’re particularly excited about the new Flight Map, which has been transformed into an actual globe \u2013 an awe-inspiring feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, v5 introduces a new Hub System, potentially reintroducing Hub Managers in the future for our community. The leadership board has been enhanced, allowing us to relaunch Hub Competitions and award “Badges,” new in v5. This shift is more for “recognition” with the community, enabling us to award badges for numerous things, such as the Top Flyer or event participation. The badge is displayed on your profile. Furthermore, we’re excited to introduce the “Hangar,” which will serve as a download site for the community and a new scenery database for recommended scenery downloads. Another significant change is that auto-repositioning routes have been eliminated, and the updated route system ensures a more reliable and accurate flight experience. We can now add more airlines to our route system, which is an excellent opportunity to expand our Star Alliance routes. These advancements represent a significant technological leap as we approach a year on vAMSYS. The transition has been remarkably stable and community-focused, leading us to a new VirtualUA experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, in vAMSYS, they have been working to keep their custom in-house ACARS, Pegasus, updated, which adds a significant dimension to the member experience. We’re all eagerly anticipating the launch and its exciting developments.
