Dear VirtualUA Community,
I hope this message finds you well as we navigate through 2024. I am Robby Sayles, the President and Founder of VirtualUA, Inc., and I wanted to take this opportunity to connect with you all.
This year has been eventful, especially with the chance to travel and explore the world post-COVID. Being back in the skies and attending some fantastic events was a pleasure. I recently had the opportunity to visit Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, a significant event where I engaged with the gaming community. This was a great platform to showcase our passion for flight simulation and connect with a broader audience. Additionally, I was thrilled to receive an invitation to the MSFS Community event, another significant gathering where I had the pleasure of interacting with fellow flight sim enthusiasts and engaging in conversations about VAs.
These experiences have broadened our horizons and strengthened our community bonds.
In June, our team traveled to the Flight Sim Expo in Las Vegas, where we met with developers and other flight simulation community members. We also hosted our annual community meetup, where we shared a delightful dinner and reflected on our experience at the expo. Rumor has it that next year’s expo will be held in Rhode Island, which sounds incredibly exciting!
As we gear up for the release of vAMSYS v5, we are brimming with anticipation and excitement about what the future holds. The fall season is just around the corner, so it is a perfect time to enjoy some pumpkin spice treats and cozy up. I want to express my sincere gratitude to our community for their unwavering support. Your dedication to VirtualUA is genuinely inspiring and fills me with pride. As we approach our 13th year in 2025, I am excited and eagerly looking forward to the journey ahead, and I attribute our continued success to all of you.
Wishing you all a delightful fall season, and I look forward to crossing paths with you in the sky and beyond.
Blue Skies,
Robby Sayles
